[edit] ====================================================Rome Daily Sentinel, 16 Oct 1935: MRS. E. BLANCHARD DIES AT HER HOME Camden, Oct. 16-- Mrs. Elizabeth M. Durgee Blanchard, wife of Egbert Blanchard, died suddenly Tuesday at their home on Railroad ST. She had enjoyed good health until about six weeks ago. The deceased was born at Camden in the house where she died on Dec. 15, 1889, the daughter of Mrs. Carrie Durgee and the late Louis [!] Durgee. On March 15, 1921, she was united in marriage to Egbert Blanchard by the Rev. Joseph Short, pastor of the Camden M.E. Church. Surviving besides her husband is a daughter, Miss Dorothy Blanchard; mother Mrs. Carrie Durgee; and a brother, Harry Durgee, all of this village. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the B. A. Sanborn & Son funeral home, Main ST. The Rev. Harvey D. Brink, Free Methodist Church pastor, will officiate.
