Utica Daily Press, 23 Sept. 1961: EGBERT BLANCHARD Camden--Egbert Blanchard, 81, of Wolcott ST, retired Camden Wire Co. employee, died yesterday in the George Nursing Home. He was born in Camden, son of Emery and Pollyann Loveland Blanchard. He married Lizzie Durgee in 1924 and she died in 1935. Mr. Blanchard resided all of his life in this village. Prior to entering the nursing home he resided with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Mikitin. He retired from the wire company several years ago. He also had been engaged in the logging business and farming. He was a Methodist. Besides his daughter, he leaves a brother, Earl Blanchard, Camden. The funeral will be... tomorrow from the Sanborn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allison C. Wood, Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
