    Near 70 years of age, died Wednesday at his home in the Pine Forest Community. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Merideth Wyatt, and Rev. DeVore at the Pine Forest Methodist church. Burial was made in the Pine Forest cemetery. His immediate family surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Joe Post, Paul Richey and Andrew Richey of Pine Forest, and Cil Richey of Shreveport, La. (paper dated Thursday, March 31, 1938)

    E. T. and Sarah lived for about a year after marriage on the Crawford Sylvanus Heffner land (Hefner married Mattie Truitt, an Aunt of E.T. Richey) northeast of Gilmer, TX a few miles and then moved to the E.T. Richey farm east of Pine Forest, TX where both of them lived to the end of their lives.
