Andrew Floyd Richey was born at Pine Forest, Hopkins County, Texas, the youngest son of Elijah Truitt Richey and Mary Josephine Anglin. Andrew married Miss Lora Howard on the 10th day of August 1914 in Hopkins County, Texas. They later divorced.

He then married Fannie Baumgardner Brumley of Denison, Grayson County on the 24 November, 1954 at Bonham, Fannin County, Texas. They made their home in Pine Forest Texas for a while and later moved to Whitewright, Texas.

Andrew F Richey and Lora Howard Richey are buried in Pine Forest Cemetery, Hopkins County, Texas.
