_FREL: Natural _MREL: Natural Wedding announcement March 12, 1901, Atlanta Constitution: GAAR-CHRISTIAN A very pretty wedding which united in marriage Miss Eula Lee Gaar to Mr. Elam P. Christian occurred Sunday, March 10th, at 3:30 p.m. at the home of the bride, 349 Woodward avenue. Only relatives and a few intimate friends were present. The ceremony was impressively performed by Rev. Elam Christian, father of the groom, little Miss Joyce Wood rendering the "Flower Song" throughout the ceremony. The bride, who is an exceptionally beautiful woman, was becomingly gowned in a handsome tailor suit and carried bride's roses. Mrs. Christian as Miss Gaar was loved and admired by a host of friends for her sunny nature and charming manner, as well as possessing unusual personal attractions. Mr. Christian is a young newspaper man of Acworth, Ga., of integrity and business ability, and well deserves the fair bride he has won. The happy young couple left at 4:30 p.m. for Acworth, Ga., where they will be at home in future. |
