Name is Eben in 1870 Census in Swampscott. Living with Lord Family in Salem at 1880 census. In 1884 Salem Directory listed as a salesman. In 1888, listed in Salem, MA Directory as agent for Fleischman's Yeast. 1895 Salem Directory lists him as a clerk, living at 8 Dearborn.

Living in Melrose at 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census. Living in Melrose with brother-in-law Charles Hay at 1930 census.

"Edward grew up in Swampscott. He lived in Salem and Swampscott until 1897 when they moved to Reading and two years later moved to Melrose, where their children attended school. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War I and was a member of the Second Corps of Cadets and also of the Eighth Regiment Infantry of Salem."
