BIOGRAPHY: Notes from family history provided by Sandy Holmes 1/3/07 Ed Walters when the Japanese invaded Manila in 1942. The Japanese used their home as a headquarters, and their pool as a torture place. Ed had something called creeping paralysis, probably Multiple Sclerosis. He went to the diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic in the Midwest, he was a wheelchair user.
