Edward Waddington of Northowram and Shelf, nr. Halifax, d. 1593. Constable of Shelf. Md. 1556 Elizabeth Mawd (Maude) at Halifax. She was buried 1599 at Bradford. Son of Edward Waddington 1516 of Grindleton, nr. Clitheroe, and of Hipperholme Halifax. Had issue 2 sons:

1- Edward Waddington abt 1557 Halifax
2- Samuel Waddington abt 1572 Halifax, md 1599

Admn. 1593 to his son Samuel W. of Bradford. Descended from Richard de Wadyngton of Coley, Halifax, 1388. Edward Waddington of Northowram & Shelf, nr. Halifax. (see Duc. Lanc.
