Edward _____, of Salisbury
- Edward _____, of SalisburyAbt 1060 - Abt 1130
Facts and Events
According to Burkes Extinct Peerage, the father of Edward of Salisbury was a Norman named Walter from Rosmar in Normandy. But Keats-Rohan says Edward was English with lands through his mother. He could be both.
Cawley, in his FMG Medieval Lands database posits Gautier (Walter) as the father of Edward of Salisbury. However, there is a lack of solid documentation for these relationships, so this man remains something of a mystery.
