Edward D. Graver Sr., 91, of 1867 Mahoning Mountain Road, Lehighton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mahoning Township. He was the husband of Ruth N. (Anthony) Graver. They were married for 67 years on Aug. 29. Prior to retiring, he was employed by ALPO Products, Allentown. He formerly worked as a huckster, milkman and delivery person for Freihofers Bakery.Born in Beltzville, he was a son of the late Harry and Florence (Strohl) Graver.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Palmerton, and a former member of East Penn Sporting Club.
He was an avid racing enthusiast and loved to farm.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Kevin, and his wife, Darlene, of Lehighton; a brother Bill of Beltzville; a daughter-in-law, Melinda Graver of Lehighton; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Edward D. Jr.; and four sisters, Lois Andrews, Eurena Beers, Marie Jones and Annabelle Frederick.
