Mrs. Ruth N. Graver, 92, of East Penn Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Monday, March 6th at The Summit Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, Pa. She was the wife of the late Edward D. Graver. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late John & Lydia (Greensweig) Anthony. During World War II she was employed at the Vultee Corporation, Allentown, Pa. She later worked as a cashier at Rex’s Royal Swan Market, Ashfield, Pa., The Grants Department Store, Lehighton Pa., Table Supply, Slatington, Pa. and most recently at Laneco, Lehighton Pa.. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola, Pa. Ruth was a loving wife, mother & grandmother and supported her families racing endeavors. Surviving is a son, Kevin C. Graver Sr. & his wife Darlene of East Penn Township, a daughter in law, Melinda “Mindy’ Graver of Lehighton., 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son Edward Graver, a sister, Edna Haydt, & 5 brothers, Wilbert, Roy, Harold, Russell, & Stahley . A Celebration Of Life Service in her honor will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 9 a.m. at Salem UMC, 4145 Forest Inn Road, Aquashicola, Pa. with the Reverend Amy Enders officiating.
