Early Land Acquisition in Westmoreland County, VA
- November 26, 1737, Morrice Veal of Prince William County, Virginia sells to Edward Bush of Westmoreland County, Virginia all rights in 100 acres more or less situated in Washington Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia, being a part of a parcel formerly granted to Morrice Veal, father of aforesaid Veal, of 200 acres beginning at the head of Pope’s Creek. [Westmoreland County, Virginia Deeds & Wills #8 1723-1738, pages 327-327a].
- October 30, 1740, Morris Veale of Prince William County, Virginia also sold to Edward Bush, Book 9, pages 152-179.
