Edna I. Meckley, 84, of 267 Frederick St., Hanover, formerly of 1693 Westminster Road, Hanover, died Tuesday at Hanover Hall Nursing Home. She was the wife of Delbert V. Meckley, who died Jan. 26, 1974.
The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Wetzel Funeral Home Inc., 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Meckley was born July 6, 1915, in Westminster, Md. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Grace (Hoffeins) Krumrine.
She was a seamstress at Middleburg Manufacturing Co. She was a member of St. Paul's Dubs Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Mrs. Meckley is survived by a daughter, Darlene Krout of Spring Grove; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Cletus Krumrine of Westminster; and a sister, Minnie Sager of New Chester. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Marshall Gante.
