Cletus E. Krumrine, of Hanover and formerly of Westminster, MD, departed this life for Heavenly rest March 10.
He was the son of the late Jacob H. and Grace Hoffheins Krumrine.
Before retiring, Cletus had been a dairy farmer for over 40 years. During this time, he was the recipient of the Maryland Cooperative Milk Producers Gold Quality Producer Award, Carroll County and Maryland Century Farm Recognition, and he was the highest milk and butterfat producer for three years. He was a long time member of the Maryland Farm Bureau, The Carroll County and Maryland Holstein Association, and the Holstein Association of America.
The loving husband of Estella Poist Krumrine for 48 years when she departed this life in 1995, he is survived by his daughter, Grace E. Marrero of Thomasville, and two granddaughters, Mary E.K. Marrero and Rebeccah E.F. Marrero, also of Thomasville.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sylvester Krumrine, and three sisters, Treva Koontz, Edna Meckley, and Minnie Sager.
