EDNA MAY ROSER Pulaski-- Mrs. Edna May Roser, 66, widow of A.W. Roser, died this morning at her home in Ricard after a short illness. A native of Williamstown, where she was born on July 17, 1891, a daughter of Osman and Lorinda Woodhouse Kellogg, she had resided many years in the Altmar area. She was a member of Ricard Grange and the W.H. & F.M. Society of the Pine Meadows Church. Her husband died in 1952. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Isabell Crossett; four sons, John, Edwin, Wilfred and Osman; a brother, Arthur Kellogg, all of Ricard; eight grandchildren ... Funeral services will be at the family home in Ricard... Monday, the Rev. Adelbert Edwards, pastor of Pine Meadows church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Pulaski Democrat, 23 Jan 1958: MRS. ASA ROSER OF RICARD DIES Mrs. Edna May Kellogg Roser, 66, widow of Asa Roser, died Friday, Jan. 10 at her home in Ricard. Although she had been in poor health for some time, death followed a stroke in the morning. Born in Williamstown, she was a member of the Ricard Grange and the W.H. & F.M. Society of the Pine Meadows Church. Mr. Roser died in 1952. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Isabell Crossett; four sons, John, Edwin, Wilfred and Osman; a brother, Arthur Kellogg, all of Ricard; eight grandchildren ... Services were held .... Monday, Jan. 13, at her home, the Rev. Adelbert Edwards officiating. The high esteem in which she was held was evident by the many and beautiful floral pieces. Interment was in Orwell Evergreen Cemetery. Bearers were nephews, Harold King of Chaumont, George King of Williamstown; Harris Kellogg of Camden, William King and Donald Kellogg of Ricard. References
