Data on this family from funeral card (with amended death day) provided June 25, 2001 by Esther Fleanor. It said that Edgar was born Sep. 3, 1889 at Caney, KS, died June 12 (aunt Esther Fleenor changed that to June 11) of lympho sarconia; the son of Wm. F. and Josephine Clark, died at the age of 43 yrs, 9 mo., 9 days. It reported his marriage data and that he had 1 son and 4 daughters. For several years he was a machinist in the MO P. R. R shops at Hoisington, KS, but in later years he was a caretaker at Phillips Univ. in Enid, OK until he became fatally ill. It is not certain if he died at Enid, OK or Hoisington, KS, but he was bured at Hoisington. It is interesting that the funeral cards for so many of this family appear to have an identical format and border decoration. I wonder if someone did not use family photos to create them all at a later date.
