Sept, 28, 1743 - Ebenezer Barnes, son of Ebenezer Barnes, was married.

It is claimed his wife's name was Lydia, who died Dec. 6, 1785. In his will he calls his wife Abigail, hence it is probable that Lydia was the second wife of his father, Ebenezer. He probably resided in Southington.

October 1768 - Mr. Ebenezer Barns to be Lieutenant of the south company or trainband in the society of New Cambridge in the town of Farmington.
