Dorothy Braught second marriage to Ivan Davey, Northwood, IA (see Northwood obituary that gave her birth date as Mar 19, 1911 at Kensett, IA, dau. of Chris Thoen and Emma Kittleson). Dorothy's obit says she survived her second husband, Ivan, and two sons; Jim and Thomas Davey. She had two brothers, Charles and Glenn Thoen, who also died before she did. See obit for added family. I phoned Dorothy 1987; she said Ivan had ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) disease and was very ill. See other letters from her to nephew Loran (author of this collection) in his family files. 

Aug. 1999 I visited with her daughter, Pat Peterson, at Charles City, IA; she and her husband, Dennis, are watching over her half-sister (my cousin), Beverly (we had a very pleasant visit there).

I had a note showing Dorothy's address as 105 N.7th Northwood, IA 50459 In summer 2006 I was unsuccessful in contacting Pat Peterson or Beverly by mail, email, or phone. My intention was to visit them that summer if I could contact them.
