MARSHALL, Ill. - Doris "Dee" Reschan, 80, of San Clemente, Calif, formerly of Marshall, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, in San Clemente. She worked as a secretary for the Capistrano Unified School District for more than 16 years. She was born Dec. 28, 1923, in Marshall to Otto Crumrin and Anna Hilt Crumrin.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond R. Reschan; two sons, Robin C. Reschan and wife Teresa of Oceanside, Calif., and James Toby Reschan of Irvine, Calif.; a daughter, Jeanne A. Reschan of Lacey, Wash.; two sisters, Mary A. Yeley and husband Warren of Bozeman, Mont., and Anna I. Eldredge and husband Shirley of Paris; a brother, William Dale Crumrin and wife Evadene of Marshall; four grandchildren, Ryan R. Reschan, Jennifer A. Reschan, Julia E. Reschan and Joseph R. Reschan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jean Orndorff and Margaret Butts; and two brothers, Robert Crumrin and Wayne Crumrin.
She was an avid football fan and had been a season ticket holder to the San Diego Chargers for several years. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and had moved to San Diego in 1956.
Services are 11 a.m. CST Saturday in Pearce Funeral Home, with her nephew, the Rev. David Butts officiating. Burial is in Livingston Cemetery in rural Marshall. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday.
