Samuel married about 1677 Deborah Packard [MD 15:254-6 (Samuel Packard); Plymouth Col. PR 4:2:96; VR Bridgewater 2:574.], born probably in Bridgewater [Plymouth Col. PR 4:2:96.], died in Bridgewater after 1 July 1725 [MD 15:254-6 (?date of sister's baptism).]; daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Packard and sister of Deliverance, the wife of Thomas Washburn, brother of Samuel. No birth or marriage record has been found for Deborah Packard; evidence for her parentage and marriage is found in the will of "Samuell Packer Seni[or] of Bridgewater...yeoman", dated 29 October 1684, and naming daughter "Daborah Washburn the wife of Samuell Washburn".
