    Samuel Washburn born probably in Bridgewater about 1652 [born in the period 25 March 1651/52 per age at death, and presuming death year is 1719/20] [Plymouth Co.     No birth record has been found for Samuel Washburn, but his parentage is shown by the will of this father, John Washburn, dated 30 October 1686 and naming son Samuel, with other children. In a deed, dated 9 January 1677, recorded 26 April 1720, John Washburn, Sr. of Bridgewater, planter, with the consent of his wife Elizabeth, gave 35 acres of land in Bridgewater to his son Samuel.     The will of Samuel Washburn of Bridgewater, yeoman, dated 13 March 1720, probated 4 April 1720, names wife Deborah Washburn; sons Samuel, Nehemiah and Benjamin Washburne; heirs of son Noah Washburne deceased; heirs of his son Israel Washburne deceased; daughter Hannah wife of John Keith; grandson Israel Washburn son of son Israel; and cousin Deliverance Jennings wife of Ephraim Jennings.
