David's obit in The Sabbath Recorder says that he died of dropsy at age 72. In 1810, he lived in Stonington, Connecticut which is adjacent to Hopkinton, RI.N.Burlington Twp. in 1810. Benjamin and Paul Palmiter also lvd there. Lvd. in Edmeston, NY by 1830 census. was blacksmith in 1850 Evidence suggest that Joseph and Ann Palmiter could be his parents.
