    [p. 293] The Day above mentioned [Nov. 25th, 1744], The Desire of ... David Nelson ..., Brethren of the Church of Christ in Lancaster, was according to y'r Desire, made Known by ye Pastor to said Church, whose desire was as follows, viz: Theat they might obtain a dismission from us and a Recommendation to ye Covenanting Brethren in ye West or Second Precinct in Lancaster in order to y'r Joying with them in ye founding a Church in sd Precinct [i.e., Chocksett Church], ... Upon wich, that was (in Proper Time) done by ye Pastor."
