Samuel Stickney. … He married (2) in Haverhill, 23 May, 1695, Mary, daughter of John Hardy. … He married (3) in Newbury, 5 June, 1713, Elizabeth, daughter of Joshua Woodman of Newbury. … He lived in Bradford until about 1691, when he moved to Rowley, where he died. He conveyed, 15 Jan., 1714-5, all his estate to his son Daniel Tenney, who 'is to support myself and wife' (Essex Deeds, 36:110). 19 Mar., 1727-8, he acknowledged his deed of 8 May, 1701, to Samuel Todd (Essex Deeds, 81:149). He was a soldier, 1675-6, under Maj. Richard Waldron of Dover, N. H."
