William3 Tenney (Daniel, Thomas), born 23 Oct., 1698; married (int. in Newbury, 3 Sept., 1720, Mehitable, daughter of Benjamin Pearson. … They lived in Newbury until the spring of 1727, then in Rowley, where he died. His will, dated 23 Mar., 1782, proved 6 Dec., 1784, mentions sons William and Richard; daughters Ruth Blanchard, Eunice Ellsworth, Hannah Pearson, Mary Noyes, and Jane Jewett; son Oliver, who has the real estate and is executor. (Essex Probate, 357:271)."

    The basis for this statement of his death is not evident, and was probably intended as 29 September, 1784 vice 1874. His death is not recorded in any published Massachusetts Vital Records.
