Theory A: Family:Thomas Hall and Ann Bartlett (1).
Circumstantial evidence exists for some type of relationship as follows:
- Rev. James Hall (son of Thomas and Ann) was b in 1790 in Harrison County, VA.
- Daniel Hall was b 1795 in Harrison County, VA.
- Thomas Hall is known to have moved to Montgomery County, KY where he died in 1836.
- Daniel Hall is described as "of Montgomery County" when he buys land in Rush County, IN in 1823.
- Rev. James Hall died in Montgomery County, KY in 1832.
- Daniel Hall named his next son James Hall (b 1838). He also has some "extra" people living in his household in the 1840 census.
- Could these be some of the children of Rev. James Hall?
- Rev. James Hall is supposedly buried in a "Shilo Cemetery", County not specified. Stone has not been found.
- Daniel Hall is buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Rush County, IN. Stone found.
- Henry Hall (b 1828, son of Daniel) inherits his father's land. In 1879 atlas, he is living next to the families of 2 men with the surname Gordon.
- Thomas Hall (b 1820, son of Rev. James) has moved away from Rush County by 1879, but not before naming his first son "James Gordon Hall".
