Clark inditced for Incitement to Riot, pleads not guilty and with Daniel Clark, each owes the State of Indiana $20 to be levied against their respective goods, chattels and lands and tenements if they fail to appear in court at the next session to answer the charges against them p. 17 – April 1826 – Daniel Clark incited for Riot, pleaded Not Guilty, owes $20, as does Thomas J. State of Indiana vs Daniel Clark: Assault and Battery on David Matlock On 11 Feb 1826, Daniel Clark, laborer, late of Hendricks County did in a rude and angry manner unlawfully touch strike beat and wound and other wrongs to David Matlock; [delay in coming to judgement is because of repeated difficulty of getting Clark to Court until he finally appeared on his own behalf and pleaded guilty].
