Dale O. Crumrine, 77, a longtime Skagit Valley resident passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at his home. Dale was born April 24, 1930 in Yakima, WA to Samuel Eugene and Anna Ethel (Murray) Crumrine, and came to the Skagit Valley when he was about one year old.
He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1948 and married his high school sweetheart, Juanita Beitler, in 1950.
Dale worked at many job sites throughout the Valley spending over 40 years as an Operating Engineer and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #302. He has also been an active member of First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon since 1973.
Dale loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, and loved hunting and camping.
Dale is survived by his wife: Juanita; one daughter, Bonnie (and husband, Mike) Loomis of Mount Vernon; two sons, Michael Dale of Burlington and Randy of Sedro-Woolley; and three grandchildren, Christopher Loomis, Kimberly Loomis and Madelyn Lynch-Crumrine. Three sisters, Lucille Wallace of Sedro-Woolley, Inez Brown of North Bend, Lola Cecotti of Sedro-Woolley; and one brother, Ronald Crumrine also survive him.
