Cyrus Queen is listed as a member of the 58th Regiment, North Carolina Infantry. The 58th was organized in Mitchell Co. NC in July 1862. The 58th fought in the campaigns of the Army of Tennessee from Chickamauga to Atlanta, guarded prisoners at Columbia TN, and later returned to North Carolina and fought at Bentonville. The unit surrendered on April 26, 1865.
