    Note: "was 18 years younger than her sister Elizabeth Vandervort Aikin. Cynthia Vandervort Moore was remembered in 1938 by a Mrs. Laura Vandervort Sammit for a visit she paid Mrs. Sammit's parents in Columbus. "I remember her because she was so fat," said Mrs. Sammit. Mrs. Nellie Vandervort of Zanesville says "She was a grand woman" and that in 1871 a newspaper printed a story about her occassioned by the birth of a son in her 49th year. Mrs. Florence Moore Gallogly says she adored her only sister, Elizabeth, eighteen years her senior." 1
