Mr Sullivan was an honest man, a kind neighbor and highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, two sons and a daughter to mourn his loss. Was a property owner in 1860 in town of Galva, township of Wethersfield in 1770 and 1880 in Galva. Need to find immigration papers and ownership papers.

Immigration papers found in both N.Y. and Il but does not include background form with declaration of intent. Patrick Colfer was naturalized the same date as Cornelius and his father, Moses testified for Cornelius. Family found in 1860 census living in Galva, Illinois. Need to find Patrick's immigration papers. Also a James Colfer was naturalized on 31 Oct 1876. There are no Colfers listed in the Kewanee Catholic Cemetery. They may have moved on. Moses was born in about 1824 in Ireland. In Tom's obituary it states that a Tom Colfer was notified who was a distant cousin of the Sullivans.
