... Cordelia, born August 12, 1832. See special biography. ...
... CORDELIA (HAMILTON) DONNELL, the youngest daughter of Cyrus and Mary Hamilton, was married to Lowery Donnell October 31, 1855. Their union has been blessed with three sons and three daughters:
    - Charles B,, born October 5, 1856; married to Lucy B. Hamilton September 18, 1880 ; they have one son, the only great-grandchild of Cyrus Hamilton.
    - Cora M.
    - Cyrus H., born March 13, 1860.
    - Nettie.
    - Maud W.
    - William Hamilton, born August 2, 1875.

Mrs. Donnell resides on a farm adjoining the old home place. During the last few years of the life of Mr. Hamilton, himself and wife made their home with this daughter. Here it was that the golden wedding, mentioned in the sketch of Mr Hamilton, occurred, and here they "ceased life's weary combat." Mrs. Donnell is a person in whom the soul of existence seems to be to make those around her comfortable. She has been a mother's best substitute for at least one of her deceased sister's orphan children, besides being the author of many other little domestic and neighborly schemes which have resulted in making her friends and relatives happy. ...
