E. F,loyd Dies At Home After Long Illness Funeral services for Mrs. William E. Floyd, 82, were held Saturday afternoon in the First Methodist Church, with the pastor Rev. Lyle Lieder officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband, one daughter Mrs. James Rogers of Eagle Grove, three grandsons Floyd Rogers of Hollywood, Calif., John and Robert Rogers at home. A life long resident of Eagle Grove Mrs. Floyd died early the morning of Jan. 10 at the location where she and Mr. Floyd had lived all of their married life. . . . . Mr. and Mrs. Floyd had no family, but took into their home their 13 month old niece Beth McVicker when her mother died in 1918. They legally adopted her and raised her as their daughter. Mrs. Floyd was the last of her family, having been preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner McDonald, four sisters and three brothers.
