In 1515 Collin1 Cabot of Trinity Parish was one of the witnesses in an inquisition held at St. Helier’s by a commission sent to the Island of Jersey by Henry VIII. (Chancery, Miscellaneous Rolls No. 397, Public Record Office, London.) The mother of Collin1 Cabot was daughter of Guillotine Nicolle, sister and co-heir of Jaquette Nicolle, wife of Jean Grassier.
