"Clem" Bruder Of Reynolds Dies

Resident There For 69 Years

  "Clem" Bruder, a resident of Reynolds township for 69 years, died Thursday, Aug. 13, the victim of a cerebral hemorrhage, after an illness of about two weeks. He was hospitalized in Memorial hospital one day.
  Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 17, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic church here at 9:30 o'clock in the morning. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. George Rauch officiated. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery with the following pallbearers: Joe and Raymond Warner, Leonard Miller, Ambrose Remer, Louis and August Bruder.
  Clemens Martin Bruder was born Oct. 8, 1886 in Klein Nakel, East Germany. He was the son of Johann and Christine (Wiese) Bruder. In 1890 he came with his parents to the United States, settled in Reynolds township where he has since resided. Clemens Bruder married Mary Fraune in Long Prairie Jan. 28, 1913. To them two children were born, Frank who is at home and Stephen who died December 19, 1942. Mrs. Bruder died August 10, 1956. He is survived by his son, Frank, a brother, John, of Long Prairie and a sister, Mrs. Martha Remus of Missoula, Mont.
