In 1910 and 1920 He was living with his parents in Fleming County, Kentucky, United States. According to the census records he was a white. He was able to read and write and he worked as a laborer on the family farm. [2]
He passed away from Epilepsy on 13 May 1938 in Eastern State Hospital in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky, United States. [1][3]
He was laid to rest in Elizabethville, Kentucky. [1][4]

- It says date of death was 11 Jan 1937:It also says he was attended from a marked out date (might be Jan 10th or maybe 12th, 1938) until May 13th, :1938.
