Clarissa Watts married George Haydon, a blacksmith, on 25 June, 1839 in Saffron hill, Camden. They had four children together in London, before emigrating to Port Fairy, Australia (then known as Belfast) where George set up his own business as a blacksmith. Their eldest son, also named George, trained as a blacksmith and worked in Port Fairy for two years before setting out on his own. George and Clarissa had five more children in Port Fairy, as well as raising their daughter Sarah's son Ernest. Image Gallery
