“ROSEMON.-Of diphtheria, February 19 [i.e. Sunday, February 19, 1882], CLARENCE, beloved son of Cornelius Price and Alice Rosemon, aged 9 months and 27 days. Funeral Monday, 20th inst. [i.e. Monday, February 20, 1882]”

This information is confirmed by the New York City Death Records contained on the Italian Genealogy Group’s website [www.ItalianGen.org], which also gives us his middle initial:

Based on the age given in his death notice, I obtained a tentative birth date of April 23, 1881 using an on-line birth-date calculator. His parents are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, which does not have publicly available records, so I do not have any way to determine if he is indeed buried there [which is the logical assumption] or not.
