Published on Oct 11, 1905 pg8 - An old pioneer has gone to her rest. Mrs.Dennis, mother of several of our best business men. She was a faithful member of the M.E.Church and was laid to rest in the Dennis Cemetery. On the same page in another column - Mrs.Clara Dennis, an old & respected citizen, died at the home of her dau Mrs. F.E. Swan, in Wheatfield and was laid at rest in the Dennis Cem on Oct 9th, leaving 4 sons, 2 daughters & a large circle of friends to mourn their loss. She was a faithful member of the M.E. church in Williamston and will be greatly missed at the home of Mrs. Swan, where she has made her home since the death of her husband.
