Clara Cecelia Engel/Engle (spelled both ways) was the wife to my husbands' grand uncle William Milton Binkney. I show Clara being born on November 28, 1876 either in Elizabeth, Pa. or Adamsburg, Pa. Found both places mentioned. She died August 1, 1945 in Homestead, Allegheny Co., Pa.. and is buried next to William in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pa.. She was married to William Milton Binkney, born in Elizabeth, Pa. on May 26, 1869 and died December 24, 1928 in Mifflin Twp., Pa. They were married in 1891. His father was John W. Binkney and his mother was Elmira Lynch and they are both buried in Homestead Cemetery, Homestead, Pa. I have pictures of their graves.

Together, they had 5 children: Francis Russell (Boots) Binkney, Albert John (Red) Binkney, Claribell Binkney, William Milton Binkney and Emma Elizabeth Binkney Timms. Emma is still alive at the age of 92 and is in a nursing home in Homestead, Pa. but very lucid. I've talked to her several times. She is our oldest , living relative. I have worked on the Binkney genealogy for over two years and have everyone of them explored and researched until back to 1813; the patriarch of the family, a Peter Binkney. He has me blocked because we can't find when he died or where he is buried.

I show Clara's brothers and sisters to be: Mary Engel Powell, Ada Engel Hopper, Elizabeth Engel Van Way, William, John and Paul but don't know who her parents were or any of those stats. I expect you might have that info. If you do, would you be able to give it to me?

I also show that Clara was a housekeeper and owned a candy store at the bottom of Greensprings Avenue in Homeville, Pa. She belonged to the Homeville Christian Church. I think I even have her obituary from the newspaper.
