Married in Irwin by S. C. Reinsberg, J.P. Clara's birth date on the application is given as May 13, 1875 (15 years old on May 13, 1890]. The November 28, 1876 date is from a note from Carole Binkney. The latter date would have made her less than 14 on the date of the marriage license application. If the November date is correct it is likely that the birthdate on the application was fudged to allow the wedding to take place.
