Christopher Iverson

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Newburg Methodist church for Christopher Iverson, 95, who died Saturday evening at a rest home in Eyota, Minn.

The Rev. Roy Lockhart officiated. burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Iverson was born in Fillmore County, Minn., Dec. 8 1865, the son of Christian and Bertha Iverson. He married Bertha Danielson. She died March 15, 1928.

Survivors are two sons, Wesley of Canton, Clifford of Lanesboro two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Geva) Faa and Mrs. Stella Kenyon of Mabel; 8 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, five brothers and one sister.
