         Deeds13 Aug 1694. Do. Joseph ADAMS of Burl., tailor, and wife, MARY, relict
         &adm. of Bernard Littlejohn, to Charles Reade, of Phila., tailor, for
         300 a. between two branches of Pennsaukin Creek, part of the 650 a.
         brought by John Clarke of Pennsylvania dec'd, and John Ruderow of James Reade of
         White Clay Creek, Pennsylvania., and wife, Sarah, and by said Clarke bequeathed
         to Bernard LITTLEJOHN, the said MARY (then CHAPMAN), and her sister,
         CHRISTIAN' now wife of MICHAEL BUFFIN, each to have 100 a. of which
         said LITTLEJOHN left 100 a. to his wife Mary now wife of Joseph Adams and
         theother second 100 was bought by Adams of Michael Buffin and wife.
         N.J.A. 23:72. 9 Apr 1722. Buffin, Biffin, Michael of Mansfield twp.,
         Burlington Co., yeoman. Will of. Wife, Christian. Son John, daughter Alis, Wife
         of George Morris, son-in-law Joshua Smith, who has daughter Lydia and
         other  children. Real and personal estate. Executors. Son John and
         son-in-law  Joshua Smith. Witnesses--Richard Gibbs, John Butcher, Thomas
         Scattergood.  Proved 9 Jun 1722, when Joshua Smith refuses to "Intermedle with ye
         executing of the within will". Lib 2, p 197 Inventory 31 May 1722.
         personal estate -156.11 including a servant lad, - 15 made by Thomas
         Curtis and Richard French. Michael Buffin came to New Jersey about
         1682.  He owned land near Columbus, Mansfield twp.
