Charlotte Ann 'Lottie' Gathings

"Charlotty A." was listed on the 1860 Hill Co., Texas census as 5 years old. This calculated to a birth year about 1855. This appears strange to me as she is recorded as married in 1858. She is not listed with the family in 1870. The 1860 census has to be some kind of error; on the 1850 census she is plainly recorded as 10 years old.
