1. In the 1870 Census there are two children living with Charles and Jane: Allen (?) Shuey (age 4), and Daisy Shuey (age 2). These seem too young for a couple which has been married for 16 years - have the older children died or left the home?

2. Indexed in 1880 Census as "Sheue". 3. May have died before 1907. The 1907 obituary of his brother, Solomon, Jr., mentions only 2 living brothers, probably this refers to Alonzo and Harvey.
