Charles is shown in the following records: Charles Rector was left 201 acres called the Race Ground Lot by his father, John Rector. Fauquier County Deed Book 4, Page 282. October 1, 1771, John Rector and Catharine his wife of Leeds Parish to Charles Rector of same 157 acres, part of the Ball tract. Deed Book 5, Page 364. June 28, 1773, Charles Rector and Elizabeth his wife to Benjamin Rector 128 acres on Goose Creek, part of the land given to Charles by his father, John Rector, decd. Deed Book 6, Page 201. October 7, 1775, Charles Rector and Elizabeth his wife to Thomas Ousley 257 acres on Goose Creek. Bedford County, Virginia Records. November 25, 1775 Charles Rector was deeded 168 acres.
