Facts and Events
Charles Henry Palmer was baptised on 27th June 1841 at Glapthorn in Northamptonshire, son of Rainey Palmer, formerly Smith, and her husband Daniel Palmer, a carpenter. Charles appears in the 1851 census living with his parents at Glapthorn. In 1860, Charles's mother Rainey died, when Charles was about 19 years old. The 1861 census finds Charles working as a sawyer and living with his father and siblings at Glapthorn. He has yet to be traced after 1861.
