Their livestock: 3 beef cattle, 3 cows, 1 heifer; 2 calves; and 2 hogs. The land on which they have settled is situated to the south of Saint Pierre harbor, a half league into the interior, given to them verbally by Monsieur de BONNAVENTURE. They have made a clearing where they have sown a bushel of peas, and they have some fallow land for sowing 24 bushels next spring.
