Elizabeth Ann Hess Clifton, wife of Charles Ball Clifton was my ancestor. She was the mother of Angeline Eliza Jane Clifton who married Odey Moore. Elizabeth Clifton's second husband was Garland Moore, father of Odey Moore. Odey Moore and Jane Clifton are my great grandparents. Elizabeth Hess Clifton and Charles Ball Clifton are great great grandparents. Charles Clifton disappeared during the Civil War and is believed to have died in some skirmish. I have a some information on the Clifton descendants and also on Elizabeth Hess's family. I would be happy to share information and would appreciate any information you can share on the Clifton ancestry.

In 1840 Census profiles show he Is probably not in Owen Co. KY , Springfield or Fairfield Ohio, Iowa territory or Fulton Indiana

IG lists Charles Clifton, born abt 1813 USA with all temple work done. father Thomas Clifton
