!CENSUS: 1678, Port Royal, Acadia. The 10 unnamed children were ages 17 (boy, b. 1661; probably Antoine), 15 (girl, b. 1663; probably Madeleine), 14 (boy, b. 1664; probably Claude), 13 (girl, b. 1665; probably Cecile), 11 (girl, b. 1667; could be either Jean or René with misidentified gender), 5 (boy, b. 1673; possibly Marguerite with misidentified gender), 3 (girl, b. 1675; possibly Germain with misidentified gender), 2 (boy, b. 1676; possibly Jeanne with misidentified gender), and 1 (girl, b. 1677; possibly an infant Abraham with misidentified gender). The ages and genders of the oldest four children match other known information well, but the data for the younger children is conflicting. In addition to the notations above, at least two children appear to be missing: either Jean or René and Marie.
